Oven Fried Chicken YAY OR NAY 🍗🔥
Ingredients:

4 bone-in chicken thighs or drumsticks (or a mix)
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
2–3 tbsp melted butter or cooking spray
Instructions:

Marinate the chicken:
In a bowl, mix buttermilk and hot sauce. Add chicken, coat well, and let it marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.

Preheat oven:
Set oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and lightly grease it.

Prepare coating:
In another bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.

Dredge chicken:
Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge in the flour mixture, pressing to coat thoroughly.

Bake:
Arrange chicken on the wire rack. Drizzle melted butter over the top or spray with cooking spray. Bake for 40–45 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot:
Perfect with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or cornbread.
