Elon Musk Spotted at Trump Dinner Displaying Unusual Table Behavior
Elon Musk was seated next to former President Donald Trump during a recent dinner, and a strange video of the billionaire’s antics at the table has gone viral—leaving social media users both amused and baffled.
The footage, taken at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, on March 15, shows Musk engaging in some odd behavior involving silverware. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO is seen balancing a fork and two spoons on one finger—an impromptu display of what many are calling childish or quirky behavior.
Seated nearby was Neural ink executive Shivon Zilis, who is also the mother of four of Musk’s children, observing the scene.
Social media quickly lit up with commentary. One user quipped, “Not at the dinner table!” while another joked, “Ah yes. Peak 5-year-old behavior.” Others chimed in with remarks like, “Engineer dinner table entertainment,” and “I did this stuff at six thinking I was a genius—this man is over 50.” Another user added, “We all relate because we’ve all done this as kids, hoping someone would be impressed.”

Unbothered by the online chatter, Musk addressed the clip on his own social platform, X (formerly Twitter), stating simply: “A fork and two spoons balanced on the tip of my finger.”
According to the Daily Mail, attendance at Trump’s dinner reportedly required a $1 million donation per guest—making Musk’s table-top performance a rather expensive spectacle.
Musk has been frequently seen alongside Trump in recent months, having voiced his support for the former president’s campaign. Following Trump’s return to the White House, Musk was controversially appointed head of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
